we will be here at 2 p.m. in Bettermost Chat for a simulcast viewing and chatting over 'Ned Kelly', a period drama featuring Heath, and a whole lot of facial hair!!

I just watched Ned Kelly. Not my cup of tea movie-wise but there was alot of Heath in it, doing little Heath mannerisms.

For anyone with netflix, is available on instant watch, which is what I did. For some bizarre reason, it has Spanish subtitles!

Next on the list is 'The Order' unless we want to go 'out of order' and see a more acclaimed film.  The one following that is 'Lords of Dogtown', if anyone has a preference.

I have to say I am somewhat astonished watching Ned Kelly - I always love watching Heath, and I think his performance in the film was good, but that has to be one of the most unrelentingly grim story plots I have seen, bar none!  So I will take suggestions on whether we want to see a very poorly ranked film, 'The ORder' (Rotten Tomatoes has it at an astonishing 7% compared ot 55% for Ned Kelly), or go on to 'Lords of Dogtown.'

I'd vote for Lords of Dogtown, given a choice.

The only positive about 'The Order' is Heath is breathtakingly beautiful in it, other than that, there's nothing to talk about at all.  JMO.

I really liked this film, it was my first time viewing it, and I thought Heath did a great job of inhabiting the character of Skip.  Now I know where he came up with his original Ennis 'Huh!'

I haven't watched it recently, but I also thought all of the young actors did a great job....

Anyone that likes Emile Hirsch and hasn't seen Into the Wild should see it.  It's also a good movie for those that like breathtaking landscapes.

Louise, what's the next movie on the film festival schedule??
