I used to, before I was a student in the UK and as such, very poor, and beans on toast became my staple diet! And you actually get to like them (hey c'mon, that's a BIG effort: I'm French!).

The person below me has just started learning (or decided to learn) a foreign language.

I am! I flunked German at school and am having a go at learning it from a great set of Michel Thomas CDs (my present boyfriend is Austrian, so to show willing...). They're great - a very relaxing way to learn.

"Es tut mir leid. Ich cann sie nicht verstehen". I expect that's spelt all wrong, but I figured as long as I knew that phrase I'd be okay  :P

The person below me likes leather... :P

Yeah, I like leather.  Is there a f***ing problem?  ;)

The person below me hates the whole idea of hunting (and yet likes leather and enjoys eating steak).

True.  I don't know how someone can kill animals with such innocent faces.  I do like leather shoes, handbags and well done steak though.  It’s a bit hypocritical, but then I’m not looking into their eyes when they’re killed.   :'(

The person below me had champagne last night.   :D
Now bring me that horizon.♥We have our heading.

Wish I could say that was true.  But I do plan on having some sparkling wine tonight - some old friends are coming over for dinner, and got a very nice one after a wine tasting about a month ago we've been saving.

The person below me really hates hot weather.
