I am in the land of plenty, surely.  Ellemeno called this to my attention because there is a film here that is being narrated by Gustavo Santoalalla!  Since then, I've been browsing the offerings and there are *so* many films I would love to see!!

Gustavo's film is CAFE DE LOS MAESTROS:

Award-winning composer Gustavo Santaollala (Brokeback Mountain) takes us on a journey into the heart of Argentina’s world famous tango, introducing veterans from the golden age of the ’40s and ’50s as they prepare for a memorable concert at Buenos Aires’ renowned Teatro Colón.

If that's not enough, CJ Cox, who directed LATTER DAYS and SWEET HOME ALABAMA, will be in attendance for a screening of KISS THE BRIDE.  Interestingly, KISS THE BRIDE features actors he worked with on LATTER DAYS, including Amber Benson and Steve Sandvoss as well as producer Jennifer Schaefer.  AND Tori Spelling!

There are a lot of other films of GLBT interest specifically, including XXY (http://www.siff.net/festival/film/detail.aspx?id=27206&FID=64) and ASK NOT (http://www.siff.net/festival/film/detail.aspx?id=27375&FID=64).

Friends -

I am thinking of taking a little care package to CJ Cox when I meet him next week on the 29th.  One idea I had is that fans of his could write him a message on a postcard (BBM connection) from their home area and I will deliver it personally.  Let me know if you're interested, and I will PM you my address!
