I had not ever heard of this case before and am quite intrigued that the writer and all but one of the comments on the first page of that blog, are up in arms about the result.
Writing on such a subject, is one thing, putting it on the internet is another. "Members only" site is no protection of who can or wil read it. Anyone can become a member of any site, just by filing out the required registration form.
Putting something on the net these days, is like dropping a leaflet into everyone's maibox, anyone can access it.
Anything that is detrimental to the safety and protection of children should NOT be published anywhere where there is the possibility, that someone could read it, and cause them to harm a child.
If banning such publications, saves the life of ONE child, then banning it is justified, and if prosecuting those responsible stops this type of thing being published, then it is the right thing to do.
