Okay, I started watching the episode...S9 ep 1.
I've seen Part 1 only so far but...

...spoilers follow....

I forget -
who was the guy who called 911 at the beginning of the episode?
I could've sworn that Warrick seemed sort of agitated & began chocking when he saw him approach the car.
Could he have something to do with the murder?  Why was he there in the first place? Hm..

Back to watch the other parts...

It was a week ago that I saw it, but wasn't it the undersheriff, that is, the guy who murdered Warrick, pretending to have come upon the crime scene?

The undersheriff...of course.
I have only seen part 1 so far but I was suspicious just from the way Warrick reacted to his presence.
He did it??

Ok..I gotta go watch more... :)

Sure enough. We saw him do it in the final episode of last season. This episode is all about catching him. What I didn't remember from the end of last season was the cop the undersheriff was trying to pin the murder on.

That last scene - at the church.. Warrick's memorial service..
It brought me to tears..  :'(

 RIP Warrick.

Things will certainly be different with Gris & Warrick gone...

The next ep. starts here in about 30 minutes...

Interesting "Bank hypnotist" episode yesterday.

Was there any further reference to Warrick's death?

I missed parts of the show because I was switching between CSI and the Red Sox vs Tamba Bay Rays game last night.

The Red Sox went from 0 points in the 7th inning to win the game by 8 points against TBay's 7!
Quite an exciting game!  8)

On another note..

Do any of you CSI fans watch The Eleventh Hour?  It is a new show, similar to CSI.
I caught an episode last night and it was quite good!
It conveniently starts right after CSI on CBS.

You  might say, tangentially. A cop asked Grissom why it took so long for someone from the lab to show up at a crime scene. When Gris responded that they're "a little short-handed," the cop replied, "Oh, I forgot," or something really close to that.

Same here.
I'm definitely going to be checking it out some more in the coming weeks.  :)

Re: Gris leaving CSI...
the topic hasn't be broached yet in the show, has it?
