Thinking too technically could cost you a lamb Jess! ;)

Perhaps the word "sheller" might in this case mean removing the corn kernels from the cob. But then again, maybe this is a choice I made up and I didn't think it through like I should have. ;D

But I should also point out that I live in the heart of "corn country" and I've heard people use the word "shelling" when referring to the process of removing corn kernels from the cob. I've also heard it called "kerneling". Removing the husks is called "husking" or "shucking". And this is coming from a CITY BOY!!! :laugh:

Okay, I've been studying the picture for a while now, and  I keep trying to "picture" each of those tasks being done on that contraption , but I've only managed to confuse myself more!   :laugh:  So I'm just guessing:

And I'm wondering about the stuff in the background .... are they clues .... or maybe they have nothing to do with it!  I can see where coming up with the "wrong answers" would be difficult, David.  You do a great job  :) Thanks!
