Do any of you all watch "Intervention"? It's pretty good.

I do. But it's always very sad.

OK. What was up with the rabbit in the guy's room? Now, that was freaky.

I had to turn my head when Scatman got axed.

Danny has on some layers--he'll stay warm. He's a fast little dude, too.

That rabbit was one of the ghosts! And now we're seeing some more! How about the guy with one half of his head higher than the other? That had to hurt! :P

Oh, I can explain that scene, but what you saw was edited.....

Now I don't know about the rest of you, but if I saw a blood tsunami coming towards me I'd run like hell won't have it... in the OPPOSITE direction! Why does she just stand there?

Shock maybe. :-\

We just turned Amanda's thread into a movie chat room! I hope she doesn't mind.

Maybe the next time we do this (hopefully soon... it was fun) I will create a thread in my blog. :)

Oh, I found the scene, relatively quickly.

Ok...... bear with me.

The book of "The Shining" and the movie are two completely different things.  There are things in the book that don't happen in the movie, things in the movie that don't happen in the book.

In the movie, there is the party scene, where Jack is talking to the bartender.  In the book, during that scene, there is a man in a tux, and a man in a dog suit.  The tux man is giving the "dog" commands, and the dog is following them.

A spirit approaches and explains that the "dog" is gay.  Tux man is bisexaul.  Tux man is unable to decide to spend his time with a woman, or "dog".  The man in the dog suit wants Tux man all by himself.  So they made a deal.  He goes to the party dressed in a dog suit, and obeys his commands.

What you are seeing in the hotel room is what happens after the party.....it's an oral sex scene.

here is the "undedited version".

These cross country movie fests are fun!

Have a nice evening you all, and don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour. Thanks for reminding me Shasta. :-*

OH! Ok -- I get it now, Chuck.

So you read the book?  Is it Stephen King?

YES!!! I enjoyed the company, ya'll. We will have to watch together again sometime soon--especially over Christmas break.

Sorry, Amanda.

Amanda--you are good-natured. I don't think you'd mind us watching a movie in your thread!  ;)
