Gosh Louise, fantastic stuff! Thank you so much for continuing to share your talents with us!  :-*

The insight into all the characters we've known for so long is great. I bet dr. Henry never thought his new job would be this interesting.

Hope Ellery's pain medication kicks in soon. And Colson gets there. These two haven't had it easy have they?  :-\

Chapter 10:

“Mr. Coyote always gets me good, boy,”  Ellery said, winking.  “Almost forgot what life was like before I got me my own personal coyote.”

SPOILERS

I bet dr. Henry never thought his new job would be this interesting.

You can say that again!  And it looks like he's going to be talking to Dupree soon - and I'm betting "interesting" will be an understatement for the conversation!

I'm glad Edna drove Colson to the hospital, but I was really relieved when Colson pullled the medical POA out of his wallet!  That's been in the back of my mind since the story started.  Colson's thoughts were so realistic and heart-wrenching.  I'm hoping when the nurse replied "yes" to Colson's question, she was referring to the "or something"!

LOL that Colson immediately thought of whiskey when Wes mentioned wetting their whistles!  Thanks for the quick updates, Louise, you've got us champing at the bit!

Marie

You are spoiling us!  :D

SPOILERS

Aw, I just wanted to give Jeremy a big ol' hug.  He's such a good person and so damn earnest.  I'm glad he got along so well with Henry and that he'll be talking to him again.  It would hurt Jeremy so badly to be reassigned - I hope they can find another solution ....

Joe's talk with Henry was enlightening as well.  With the center of gravity gone from the department, things are spinning out of control quickly!  Looks like the good doctor got there just in time.  And, yes, I'm sure Reynolds has lists, and maybe a few charts, too!

Terrific, Louise!

  Well, only for tonight, I hope!  Although if you really felt like writing another chapter tonight, I don't think anyone would mind being spoiled some more....

Fickle women!

It's getting a little late to pull out another chapter, I'm afraid.  This is my reading time!
