Thank you all so much for your warm welcome!! Filling Lucise's boots is not going to be easy! But I will give it my best shot and we will see what happens. I might be alittle shakey at first but..  If you guys dont like the direction I go in please pm me as I would rather " nip it on the bud" so to speak than have anybody stewing about it. I am thrilled to join such a creative and talented bunch as yourselves! I just hope I can keep up with ya all!! :) :)

No worries, Geri! You just can't go wrong here!  ;)

And now to the not so good news: Ray is leaving us, and I'll miss him badly.

Hey Mr. Raymille! Thank you for starting that crazy thread. I hope you'll keep us in good memory, even if we didn't always live up to your expectations...

Farewell my friend! It won't be the same without you
and without these two...  :'(

Hi Meryl,

Your choice of middle names for both Jack and Lureen is brilliant.

The choice of Harold for Jack made me realize that in an alternate universe, based on things we've all talked about, Aguirre could be his Uncle Joe by marriage.  And how it echoes Ennis's "Jesus H.!"  Haunting.

Also choosing Desiree - making Lureen an L.D. Newsome, Jr.  She Lured Jack, with her Desire.  Great work.

Nice reading the Gibran, too.

Jane,

Working closely with you in earlier months, with me as Casting Director, and you as Continuity Drector, i've watched you grow into the part, going from someone who tried to herd cats, to someone who knows cats shan't be herded, but still putting the open can of tuna down in the right spot so they more or less head the same way together.  :)  Or something like that.

I can think of no one better suited to be Our Director.  Remember Ang's direction to Michelle, and you'll do great, "Be like milk in water."  Not sure what it means, but I'm pretty sure cats like it.

Thanks, Elle!  I wondered if folks would pick up on the L.D. reference, and you answered the question pronto.  As to the Gibran, I found it on a site that recommended verses for weddings and was surprised to find how well it suited two people who didn't get married.  :)

I echo what Anke said, Ray.  Thanks so much for gifting us with your incredible humor and heart.  I've been missing your posts for awhile now and will continue to miss them.  All the very best to you in the next stage of your life.  Come back and visit us often!  :-*

Jane, Geri and DeeDee, thanks for taking up the mantles of those that have distinguished themselves before you.  I know you'll make those roles your own and make us proud!   8)

It has occurred to me that maybe a number of you are not familiar with the Cast List, which is kept continuously updated by our beloved former Sycophantic Assistant Clarissa, and by me.  It is found on Page One of the PT.  So just to familiarize ever'body with this list, I am posting it here.  The majority of the canonical parts have been filled, and the rest will be filled as we get closer to the time (the ones in blue).  The Lead Roles are filled on a rotational basis, and I know for a fact that our beloved Daniel is ready to pass the torch if someone else wants to step into those cowboy boots.... YOUNG JACK's I mean.   Please PM me and Daniel if you are interested.
