Hmm.  Maybe I can just challenge him to a dance battle or somethin.

Now that I want to see!

Hamlet-style, fish-or-cut-bait paralysis?  Where is that?  I can't seem to find it.

Laura, I love the closet imagery.  And Daniel, I never thought you'd be able to make Scarlett work as Ma Twist, but you keep surprising me.  :)

When Daniel did the Scarlett thing, at first I was like, "hunh?"  But I think it's awesome!

Agreed. The double exposed photos are very poignant, but Ennis's sitting problems kept me from sobbing through the last pages. Perfect balance.

((   He realizes that, as yet, the only comfort in the barren room has come from the closet.  Tentatively, almost as if being gently shepherded, he steps in that direction again.   ))

This is truly inspired.  The words and the picture.  Thank you again, Laura.

You've been up to the challenge of taking on the most difficult scenes; Jack's death and Ennis's visit.

I'm just awed.

(And she can fiddle, too. :))

Yes, friend Laura is totally awesome. Last nite, we were at Adam's house and she was trying out a fiddle I had from childhood. Friend Adam asked her to play something fast and she totally blew us all away with an awesome jig!!

And actually, credit for the Etch-a-Sketch concept goes to our very own Toycoon!  (Although he had a much more X-rated idea for the drawing! heehee...)

Aw shucks, Miss Laura, Twern't nothin'. I sure would like to see some'a them x-rated Etch -A-Sketch pitchurs, though!  ::)

Looks like a fun thread, too. I'll have to start from the beginning.
