What Do You Drive?
« on: March 31, 2009, 07:42:57 pm »
I am sure we have had this subject before but it has been a while and I am curious...

are you planning on keeping what you have, are you looking for something else (and what are you looking for if you are?)

I have a 2007 Ford Focus (red)

and a 2005 Ford F350 Diesel (black) (dually with grey accents::) ::)

and we are not looking at all.

I own a 2004 black Chevy Tracker, that I've named "Tasha".

She's only got about 65,000 miles on her, and still running great, only had to have regular maintanence stuff (oil changes, brakes, shocks) done so far.  I'm not looking.

Oh, and here's the back window.....

Here's a close up.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Very dark blue, Range Rover. A ridiculous extravagance which I wish I could get rid of.. It is unfortunately worth less than we owe on it, so all I am doing is waiting for it to be repossessed, unless finances improve beyond all recognition. It has done about 85,000 miles, but has had major problems.Steering fluid major leak.Suspension wrecked so had to have it changed from air to shocks.

Sure looks pretty, but it is an ostentatious vehicle for someone who works a register now !!! The blody service cost me $1000, what a rip off.

Husband has a mid life crisis Mustang.

Wish we could change both cars.

Tasha, hunh?  Are you sure that's not a deep purple instead of black?

I drive a three-door, metallic black, manual, five on the floor, Diahatsu Charade hatchback, with dark-tinted windows. I've had it for years and have no plans to change it. I keep the original logbook up-to-date and it breezes through registration every year. It makes a gazillion miles to the gallon and the registration and insurance are cheap. It's a perfect city car for me but also does the occasional country run with ready ease. I love my little Charade!  :D

That sounds really good, Kerry.  I felt quite a bit of guilt not buying a car that had better fuel economy myself.  Before the Jeep, I drove a black Toyota Camry and a green Honda Civic.  Both were reliable and got excellent gas mileage.  I test drove smaller cars, but in the end, I couldn't make the leap of faith it would take to get another small vehicle since my car accident, which was in the Civic.  I didn't even drive the Cherokee - asked my Dad to drive it for me, then signed the papers.  Maybe next time.
