I just got third place in a fiction contest--the CrossTIME short science fiction contest. They will publish my story in their antho in about a month.
It's a story set in the not very distant future, with a society that is invading people's private lives and jailing or even executing those who don't conform to some very strict standards. Some folks try to hide what they really are. (Does this sound familiar?)
It's called "Underground."
