Favorite Cartoons
« on: June 07, 2009, 12:40:59 am »
I can't watch this video (I'm on dial-up) but I remember seeing it when I was little. I also have it on one of my Looney Toon's DVD packs. It was one of my favorites. I love how the books come to life! It's called "Have You Got Any Castles"

It's quite racist in parts - the cartoon was made in 1938 so it accurately reflects some of the attitudes of the era.

I wish I could find Sniffles and the Bookworm by Merrie Melodies. It's my all time favorite cartoon, which also takes place in a bookstore or library. I love it when Frankenstein comes to life and torments poor Sniffles. He gets him in the end though! :D

But enjoy "Have You Got Any Castles" It's one of my favorites. I hope the video is working properly!
