Okay I very nearly finished chapter 69 but my roommate talked me into henna'ing my hair and that was it for last night, so chapter 69 will be up sometime shortly after work ends today!

And at long last!

Chapter 69. I may edit it later, it seems somehow... lumpy.

I have gotten past my "lumpy"judgement and pronounced that chapter good.

Now is anyone ready for more story?  Working on it now!

Believe it or not, I am working on determining the end-point of "Agents of the Law" - which naturally, has a follow-on cliffhanger.

Will Little Nell er Wayne die or will he, Lazarus-like, pull through once again?  Will Ellery wake up and be sane again?  Or will he fly to Tahiti?  Will he stay "quit" ?  And what happened to Pam?  Will Katie get charged with assault with a dangerous weapon?  Will Joe get to meet the shady Emilio Lago and face down Ellery's would-be killer - his FIRST would-be killer, that is?

But perhaps most importantly - is Dr. Sampson going to pull through from his injuries?

And is Lewis Stevens going to survive emergency surgery?  Is Pedro Sanchez ever going to show up for work to relieve Joe?

All this and more in the upcoming sequel to "Agents" - but as soon as I catch up on sleep and my stomach settles down I'll be able to write the final chapters of this volume.

Okay folks, so now that Upgrade Hell has been downgraded to an optimistic "Heck" it looks like I'm going to have mental space to deal with completing this book.

I'm going to be leaving work in a bit, going to stop at UPS and the Post Office to send some things off that I don't need to be dragging around Idaho with me, and then ... dumdumdum...
