Okay gang, everyone missed out this weekend, so I'm writing at this hour.  And I do mean "hour"!

ETA: not going to make it tonight but I will have a chapter out tomorrow.  Darn day job!

Thanks for the heads up, Louise!   :)

definitely tonight, I am riding high on good news on the job front.  Tricare insurance for my delicate adrenal problem, here I come!

I ended up doing a bunch of rereading last night on the different threads of "Agents" so as to pick up the right thread and by the time I looked up from all of that it was 1:15 a.m.  So tonight... I have slept on it!

ETA:  now it's tomorrow, and I'm still doing software development.  ARGH!

Okay resetting for Friday, Thursday night if I'm not dead of technology.

...and having put in 70 hours in 7 days...

I went out for a re-evaluation of my knee today and never arrived due to my car getting totalled and being in the ER all afternoon.

So now... I not only have plenty of time to write... but I also have an entirely new crop of ambulance/doctor/narcotics/emergency, fire and police personnel who agreed to let me put them in the novel! muwah!!!

Make lemonade if all life has is emergency lemons I say... now at least I have fresh characters complete from real life!

I'm too sleepy and in shock from the accident to do much writing tonight but I have very little on the docket for tomorrow, and most of it involves going back and forth to the bathroom and taking narcotics!

well, here is chapter 37... it only took about 12 hours to write, in between naps, medication, events, phone calls, and distractions.

And did I mention naps?

I have a new appreciation of the term 'lack of concentration.'

SPOILERS

Aw, you're a trouper, Louise - and it's greatly appreciated. This was wonderful.  I really enjoyed getting a chance to meet Doris and officer-in-training Jeremiah.

“Ya mean he ain’t ever gonna do that? I had such high hopes,” she added. “Our anniversary’s the tenth. Yer off a week.”

  She's the perfect match for Joe!  Thanks, Louise!

bwah!  Yes, I had some delay in writing that because I couldn't see Joe in the doghouse with his lovely and beloved spouse simply over a missed date, when lives hung in the balance.  There had to be a third force at work!

Thanks for the heads up, Louise!  As for the action - well, you haven't given yourself an easy task, but then you never do! LOL.  I hope to carve out some time this weekend to start on "Empire"!

I had to do some referencing because this is the most complicated plot entanglement I've pulled thus far.

and here are the results I got to last night which I needed to pull together before I could forge ahead, due to plot hooks I had to reconnect:

“Agents” Chapter Guide

1.   Joe and Family
2.   Ellery and Colson
3.   Nick and Jeremy and Pam
4.   Paula and Henry
5.   Joe, Wes, Carol, Leslie, Murdoch, Reynolds at the station
6.   Colson and Edna/Colson phoning Katie Ann in Prescott
7.   Nick and Jeremy
8.   Carol, Stevens, Joe, Wes Brown
9.   Edna, Ellery
10.   Joe in Tucson, Kevin Railly (head of Vice)
11.   Wes and Henry Caulfield
12.   Sanchez, Esteban, Carol, Stevens at the station
13.   Pam  on the phone with Katie, Laura, Edna and Ellery.
14.   Colson, Wes, Gus Hume and his assistant Alex
15.   Joe, Mike Sansone (Tucson Vice), Railly, Coke (?) Carol on the phone
16.   Katie, Laura, Ellery on the phone
17.    Edna and Ellery, Dr. Sampson
18.   Carol, Stevens, Reynolds, Joe, Esteban
19.   Wes, Colson, Hume and Alex
20.   Henry Caulfield, Edna, Ellery,
21.   Carol, Joe, Drew, Stevens, Reynolds, Leslie
22.   Nick and Jeremy, Pam
23.   Sanchez, Reynolds, Carol on the radio, Hezekiah Waldrop, Millicent Godfrey, Mrs. Waldrop, other driver (unnamed), ambulance driver
24.   Henry, Raymond Boudreau (MD), Edna, Wes, Henry Caulfield, Colson
25.   Katie Ann Wilson, Sam McElhaney, Scott McElhaney
26.    Carol, Joe, Stevens,  Henry Caulfield, Reynolds, Drew Farnsworth
27.   Ellery, Boudreau, Edna, Caulfield, Colson, Katie Ann on the phone
28.   Taylor, Esteban, Carol on the radio
29.   Pam, Katie
30.   Henry Caulfield, Sanchez, Carol, Millicent Godfrey, Drew Farnsworth, Reynolds
31.    Ellery, Boudreau, Wes, Sampson (on the phone), Colson
32.   Carol, Wes,  Joe,
33.   Jeeves, Noel Creston, Lauren, Wayne, Katie Ann, Gene Autry, Ellery on the phone
34.   Colson, Ellery, Edna
35.   Wes, Reynolds, Joe
36.   Lewis Stevens, Ned Flaherty, Willard Friend, Evelyn Friend (on the phone)
37.   Joe, Doris, Jeremiah

and now... on to the story!  (LOL)
plot complication? what plot complication?

okay, after massive delay...

chapter 38! *updated*

I think things got out of sequence earlier on and I'll straighten those numbers out a bit later on after I do a couple of errands:
