Where to buy the DVD
« on: April 02, 2006, 10:24:31 pm »
Hey, y'all.  After weighing the options, I decided to place a pre-order for the DVDs.  Since I shopped around, I figured I'd lay out the options for those who haven't ordered yet.

http://www.outpost.com - 14.99 limit: 1 (aka Fry's Electronics)
http://www.towerrecords.com - 16.99  limit: 3
http://www.amazon.com - 16.98
http://www.barnesandnoble.com - WS 23.98/FS 20.98
http://www.tlavideo.com - 19.99 (or free with purchase over 150$)
http://homevideo.universalstudios.com/title_old.php?titleId=2672 - 19.98 (Universal Shop)

Feel free to reply and add yours.  I went with Tower because I needed more than 1 and I don't like Amazon.
We can hug on November, caress and nice oak.

I was planning on going out Tuesday morning and getting it from either Target or Best Buy... do you think I'll have any trouble? I'm worried about it selling out...

I have a strange aversion to buying things online - I don't know why, and I know it's weird. I won't be able to get to a store until late Tuesday night probably. If I can't get to Target before it closes, I might have to go to *sigh* Walmart. Aaahhhh, Mandy, it won't sell out will it??!! Now you got me paranoid!

LOL I know courtney, I'm paranoid too! I have class all day and if i don't wake up early to get it on the way to class I won't even be able to get it until wednesday (I have night class until 10)... I am freaking out... I don't think it will sell out but I just keep thinking how quickly the collector's edition of Jarhead went and it makes me paranoid.  That one got bad reviews and it still went quickly...

I need some reassurance here people! LOL

Going to buy from Walmart tomorrow at midnight.

That's my political statement for the year.

I am watching my DVD screener of Brokeback Mountain right now, and I tell you, every time I see Jack sip from that bottle of Whiskey I want to put it on pause and down quick shot.  And I hate whiskey.
