What Shayn said is very true - there is a big difference between being accepted and merely being tolerated. I see and hear people all the time saying a certain church is tolerant of gay people, or a given city is "gay tolerant". Well, tolerant means "to put up with". I don't think ANYONE would be satisfied with simply being tolerated.

I suppose it is a start, but tolerance is a far cry from acceptance imo.

BTW, I love Shayn's golden and rainbow colored torsos in the background!
