David, dont know whats happening, but none of your pics are coming out on my screen.....
Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfection

Current Weather in Indianapolis: Cold, Windy and Riany   Temp: 36 F (2 C)

There is a old phrase here in Indiana... "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute".

Well, it's Halloween I suppose, and it looks like Mother Nature had more "tricks" than "treats" in her goodie bag. It was nearly 70 degrees yesterday. Today it didn't even make it up to 50 degrees. I just looked out my window, and there is an icy cold rain falling outside. My British friend Alex couldn't believe it! He looked at me and said <insert heavy English accent here> "Your weather really changes in a hurry doesn't it"?

Yep. It sure does.

We visited one haunted house today. Just one. Thank God. We really tried to be home when the children started coming to our door for their candy. God those kids are so cute. I saw kids dressed up as everything from little ghosts and witches to Superman and Harry Potter Dementors. I hope they made it home safely before the rain started falling.

I wonder why it always seems to rain on Halloween? I remember trick or treating in the SNOW once or twice when I was a youngster.  I also remember tick or treating in 80+ degree weather. Good old Indiana. This state sure does keep us on our toes.

We decided not to go to the bars tonight. Alex really isn't into the bar scenes (to be truthful, neither am I) so we are going to finish off the evening by watching some scary movies on television.

Well, I hope everyone had a very good and safe Halloween.

Try not to cuss loudly as you are pulling the toilet paper out of your trees tomorrow morning. I haven't seen any so far, but I'm sure my trees will be fully festooned by morning. They normally are.

It's all part of the season, I suppose.
