Sorry to hear you are having family trouble...

hope things work out.

{{{David}}}

David,
That's too bad your plans have changed!    :(  I hope everything will be ok!  I hope it's nothing too serious! good Luck!

Thanks Geri and Jess!

Don't worry. I'll have my computer with me.

Maybe you should worry. New Orleans affects people you know. And I'll have Alex with me too.

God only knows what I'm liable to say.

Current Weather in Indianapolis:  Clear, Breezy and Cold   Temp: 23 F (-5 C)

I need to get to bed. My leg was hurting very badly earlier today and I took a couple of pain pills. Before I knew it, I climbed into bed and slept for an hour. Now, I'm not tired at all and I have to get up in less than 7 hours.

Have you ever noticed how the start of your day pretty much dictates how the rest of your day will go? This morning I spent about 5 minutes trying to start my car with the house key. My day just went downhill after that. I'm not even going to discuss what happened later.  It doesn't matter anyway.

I suppose we get ourselves into a certain "frame of mind" as our day begins and we just base the rest of our day on how it begins. I think I do anyway.

I need to get my ass to bed you all. I'll probably post something just as soon as I get to New Orleans.

When we have days like that, we say..."We got out the wrong side of the bed, this morning"
Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfection

Well Sue, if this is the case, I must get out of the wrong side of the bed nearly every morning. So, I guess the wrong side of the bed for me is really the right side of the bed. So, maybe if I start getting out of the wrong side of the bed each morning, I'll have a good day.  :-\

What do you think?  ;)

I store the tipi in my garage. Fortunately I have poles which break down so I can store it easily (most tipis don't have poles like that). But it's still a hassle taking it to pow wows. A friend of mine has a truck and he transports my tipi for me. We have to attach little orange flags to the ends of all the poles because they hang off the end of his truck a little.

By the way, I got your pm about Hopkinsville next year and you are on the tipi list.  :D
