OMG, that all male dance in Jarhead is one of my favorites, Jake is such a nut in it!

Damn, if I were to get that drunk and have to be carried out they's send a bunch of butch lesbians, like the one who extracted me when I flipped my truck back in '88. I never get the cute paramedics. Ah, Randolph Mantooth..

I liked the blonde guy better...EMERGENCY!!!!!!

Oh Melissa! We would have thrown you a party if we had known you wanted us to!

Just say the word Melissa and we'll throw you one hell of a belated birthday party.   :D

for fun?

Oh okay. I was afraid you might think I was still passed out from the party last night.

I feel like I've been kicked in the head by a team of mules, but I'm awake.

Current Weather In Indianapolis:  Cold with an icy rain   Temp: 38 F (3 C)

I just hate Winter. It is so cold and gloomy here in Indiana right now. I just hate it.

And I just had a brain fart.

I was sitting here wondering why we change our clocks? For more than 30 years, we didn't change our clocks in Indiana. Well, there were a few western counties that changed them. But for the most part, Indiana didn't change their clocks. It had something to do with the farmers they said.

But this year we started to change them again. My dog and I watched some kids get off the bus in the dark today while we were sitting in the rain <very long story>. But I don't understand it. If we change our clocks to conserve daylight, then why are the kids getting off the school bus in the dark? And it is not even December yet! It's only going to get worse. And what in the world do the farmers have to do with this?

We do some very strange things in this country. We do some VERY strange things.... like change our clocks so the kids can get off the school bus in the dark.

I think I liked it better the old way, when we never fooled around with the clocks. I feel sorry for those poor kids getting off the school bus in the dark when an icy rain is falling.

When I lived in Evansville we changed our clocks. They were on Central time there. I was so glad to get back to Indianapolis. Now we're doing it here too.

It just doesn't make sense to me.
