i hate being such a pessamisitic <sp> but  just cant help it
Sometimes it all still feels like a mass of dots
but
more and more these days
I feel like we're all connected
and it's beautiful
and funny
and good.

I don't think you are being pessimistic at all Richard. I think you are being very realistic.

Current weather in Minneapolis Minnesota Wednesday am: 38 F with a high near 60  :D

Viking are not doing well, guess Coach Childress will be looking for a new job next year. (He should call me, I know what it's like to be unemployed.)

I have no idea how the Timberwolves are faring... I should check in some time.

Anyone got any good news?

All this talk of Handel's Messiah puts me in mind of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", which goes in part:

shakes, I love that song so much.  I have the Tim Buckley version.  What is the tribute CD called?  I love several of his songs (Sisters of Mercy in particular).

You might be interested in this short thread on IMDb - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0388795/board/flat/56036712?d=56058451#56058451  Reading Malina's initial post, I did a search of "Hallelujah" on YouTube, and found various versions of the song, including one of Rufus Wainwright performing it -

They say there was a sacred chord,
That David played to please the Lord,
But you don't really care for music do ya?
It goes like this: The fourth, the fifth,
The major fall the minor lift,
The baffeled king composing Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

I have this tribute cd of his music I love listening to, much more than I do him singing his own music (bless his heart).

Yes, thank you for posting this. It is beautiful!  :)

The Minnesota Timberwolves are currently 4-6.

The Indiana Pacers are 6-6

Neither team has been performing exceptionally well up to this point.

Yes, your Vikings have been having some problems this year.  You are playing Arizona this weekend though, and Minnesota is expected to win that game by 6 points.  :)
