CARS
« on: September 30, 2006, 05:53:08 pm »
Saw this on another board and it got me curious. What kind of cars does everyone drive? Since cars ary my hobby ( as you may be able  to tell from my photo, that's me, and some fanfic I wrote) and part of my business, I would be interested especially those Brokies outside the US. I'll start.

1995 Toyota Tercel- For everyday trasportation. So I can afford the....

1951 De Soto Suburban- the one in my photo.

1951 Frazer

1964 Jeep Wagoneer

The photos of the Desoto (green) Jeep (white) and the Frazer(brown) are my cars. The Toyota is a  photo I found to show what it looks like,. My Toyota is the same as pics but white. .

Hey Jess. Is it really true that the insurance is higher if you own a red car? Somebody told me this but I always wondered if it was really true.

I guess I could pick up the phone and ask the insurance company.

A purple Nissan Micra with silver go-faster stripes - one of the cute, round old-style ones. The car I'd really like is an old style Mini Cooper van with wood trim - there's something about the incongruous combination of a tiny car that's a van that I love .

Another Aussie here!  Mine is a Mercedes Vito van.  I've had 3 of them and they are brilliant.  Can carry the dogs, horses and hay in them and pull just about anything with them.  I wrote the first 2 off (not my fault!!) but after the first accident I decided it would be a Mercedes for life and I don't care how much they cost.

Here is a photo of my first Baby German Tank after the accident and the Toyota Celica that had the hide to spin out of control and get in the way.  I was doing 60 km when I hit it.
