Well, I wouldn't say it's necessarily going to be a "perfect" ending, as in fairytale perfect.  And June, you don't really want me to answer your questions about the ending, do you?   ;)

I'm new here.  But I have to ask.

They are going to be together in the end, right?

Otherwise, what's the point of all this angst about them getting together now?

At the risk of revealing too much, yes, they are going to have a happy ending.  Don't worry; I wouldn't be so cruel as to put you all through the angst in the story and then have it end badly.  When I said it won't be a "perfect" ending, I just meant in the fairytale sense.  RL always has more complications than that.  But never fear, it will end well.

Thank God for that.  I wasn't worried about the ending at all until I read this thread.   ::)

Hi Frannie  :)

I'm sorry if I said something that got you all worried. I was just speculating and like I said I usually get it all wrong anyway!  ;D

Saw this pic on the Jake Jake Jake thread over at Chez Tremblay and thought it was a good image for the Jack in this story (minus the dog, as there is no dog in the story  ;) )

The expression on Jake's face here reminds me of Jack and his cocky look in SOG, and I think it is my preferred picture so far.   (sans chien)

With the hot panty-melting motorbike one a close second...

Why is Ennis even trying to resist?   ???  Foolish man.   ::)
