2010 Retrospective Survey

1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?
 A. Went to two music concerts.  ADAM of course.


2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
 A. I don't make resolutions.



3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
  A.  No


4. Did anyone close to you die?
  A.  No


5. What countries did you visit?
  A.  USA


6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
  A.  The ability to do more physical activity.

7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
  A.  July 21,  My second concert by a person that I have so much
        admiration for.  He is not only a person of extraordinary talents
        but such an admirable person as well.  He has raised great amounts of money for special projects, while working every day and constantly around the world.  And and thussly (probably not a word)so far has seemed to
 remain down to earth and true to life, keeping mostly the same
friends in his life.


8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
  A.  Making the trip to Iowa and back, alone.


9. What was your biggest failure?
  A.  Heart Attack


10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
  A.  duh?


11. What was the best thing you bought?
  A. Tickets and music to Glam Nation tour


12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
  A.  My husband; for making sure I have my meds and food prepared.



13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
  A.  The ever abusive and trouble stirring Rush Limbaugh who is
        horribly dangerous in my mind.



14. Where did most of your money go?
  A.  Bills, and helping people through school.


15.What made you really really really excited?
  A.  My delicious granddaughter.


16.What song will forever remind you of 2010
  A.  "What do you want from me".,,,Adam Lambert

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder?  happier
b) thinner or fatter?     much thinner
c) richer or poorer?      about the same
 
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
  A.  Nothing


19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
  A.  see "18"


20. How will you be spending Christmas?
  A.  With family, hopefully


21. How will you be spending New Year's?
  A.  Home, and quietly


22. Did you fall in love in 2010?
  A.  Yes.  with my great great grandson, Noah.  The most beautiful child
        in the world.  He is so shy, intelligent, and inquisitive.  His smile
        just melts everyone that sees it.


23. How many one-night stands?
  A.  hahahahhah


24. What were your favorite TV programs?
The Mentalist, and  Castle, + my secret passion Ghost Whisperer.


25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
  A.  Glen Beck <<<<<<<<<<<<<------------------------------


26. What was the best book you read?
  A.  A whole series of books by;  Tess Gerritsen.  If you love suspense and real life terror.  Try them.


27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
  A.  Well everyone  knows this...I am redundant  ( ADAM LAMBERT)


28. What did you want and get?
  A.  After a long and spendy sojourn.. The Rolling Stone Mag. with ADAM on the cover.


29. What did you want and not get?
  A.  To win the lottery!!!


30. What was your favorite film of this year?
  A.  I can not name just one.  Shutter Island, Alice in Wonderland, Avatar, Inception,  A Single Man.  There were so many great ones this year.  I was confused also, if you meant the calendar year.  I have several others I would put in.  Black Swan, Love and other Drugs.  There are some others I am anxious to see as well.  Blue Valentine, and The
Kings speach, and Burlesque.
   You may, can tell, going to movies is my favorite passtime.


31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
  A.  Went to dinner and movie.  None of your bees wax.


32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
  A.  I would have loved to have met ADAM and his whole band.


33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
  A.  Comfortable and warm


34. What kept you sane?  My family and my pets.


35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most
  A.  duh  


36. What political issue stirred you the most?
  A.  The repeal of don't ask don't tell.


37. Who did you miss?
  A.  My brother, and my fellow Brokies


38. Who was the best new person(s) you met?
  A.   :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(


38. Side question...who would I like to get to know better?
  A.  James Franco.


39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010:
  A.  You are never too young nor too old to do totally new things in your life.

  A.  "Take a make believe vacation."
  Some of these are so difficult to give one answer to.  So I did not.

I fell off the roof and picked my Dad up off the floor more times than I can count.

No and no

Yes, my niece Christy. She gave birth to her fourth child - TJ. He's a cutie pie too!


4. Did anyone close to you die?

Yup


5. What countries did you visit?

The United States. More specifically Indiana. More specifically than that, Indianapolis. I never left! :laugh:


6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?

Some semblance of a real life, I suppose.


7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

Too many to list. Most of them bad. :laugh:

I'm still sane. Sort of.

Yup.

A new TV

President Obama for getting the DADT repeal passed.

I really don't know. Mine probably.

Credit cards, taxes, gas for the car, ect...

The fact I survived 2010

c) richer or poorer?  Richer - Financially 2010 was a good year for me.

Got out more

I spent it with my family

I watched Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin on CNN.

Nope

The Vampire Diaries, Hoarders, Glee

I have never hated anyone in my life. And I didn't start in 2010.

"The Duggars - 20 and Counting!"

My cello needed a new C string and my violin bow should probably be re-haired soon. :-\

I'll skip this one.

Skipping this one too.

"Eclipse"

48, and I really didn't do anything on that day. Took care of Dad, I suppose.

I really don't know.

Just about everyone! lol

I didn't meet any new people this year that I can think of.
