Would You Ride This Roller Coaster?!!!

This is a monorail coaster in Austria!! VERY scary looking!

I might ride it, but I think I would probably apply the brakes at least a couple of times along the way!

Nah, they're not scary, they're lots of fun! :D
I've ridden Sommerrodelbahn* quite a few times, I LOVE them!
There are different varieties of how the sleds are connected with the track. The one in the video is a monorail; I think I've ridden a monorail before, too. There are also ones with two rails (like in my pics), and some that look more like a bobsled run.

I don't do "normal" rollercoasters anymore. Loved them as a youth, but now I'm too much a coward for them. But those Sommerrodelbahnen are not scary at all, because you can control the speed. We took the kids on those when they were still toddlers, really harmless fun.
But you bet that I do use the brakes now and then! :laugh:


There's Jens and Oliver on the way up, you can see the track in this one.




This one is in the Black Forest and it has a 360° curve! :laugh:
To the left the sleds are being pulled up.




*Sommerrodelbahn literally = summer-sledding-track

It's basically a monorail really, hardly a roller coaster.  However, I would definitely ride it!
