How about some reactions?

Thanks, Chuck for posting this! I really liked the responses from the 'elders' (oh dear! that's ME now!) as opposed to merely 'reactions while watching' (which I sometimes dislike, when it is all about the vlogger and not really not about the film itself--but I'll try to keep a look out for other 'reactions').
In any case, tn this video, I thought the people shown were very thoughtful, and had very truthful things to say, especially in regards how 'things' USED to be, as opposed to be how they are NOW--
(although they could have also said more about how, in some ways, 'things' for young gay people now are STILL not as good as they should be).
In regards the quality of the film, one of the women said that if she had seen it in a theater, she would have never thought it student work, but instead found it very professional and of high caliber.
She also said that she thought it could be awarded an Oscar. I agree. And unless people in the Academy aren't stupid and clueless, I think they will definitely do something to acknowledge/commend the film and its creators, Beth David and Estaban Bravo, up to and including a nomination next year. Why not?
By the way, look at these latest numbers on August 7, 2017--exactly a WEEK since the film was posted on Youtube:

We've gone a long way, but we still have a long way to go. And while I'm heartened (!
) by the ratio between the LIKES and the DISLIKES,
I'm saddened by the fact that, during the last few days, the DISLIKE people (lets face it, the haters) have been piling on and gaining.
I hope the Trolls will not win.
