hi toast, no apologies needed! it was just a mix up! ;) thanks for posting my ginormous pics, and for the info on the program you use. i don't have paintshop pro... waah...

so -- are you taking requests? one of my fave scenes i'd like to see you do is when aguirre steps out of the trailer to say, "get yer scrawny asses in here pronto!" there's a shot of him witih his hand on the door handle, and there's a bulletin board in the background. i think they way you amp up color to bring out detail would be cool with that shot (kinda like that scene where jack's walking to go talk to jimbo).

another scene, LOL (i'm getting greedy) is the thanksgiving table at monroe's. i did a version of that with my squiggly style, but i'd love to see what you come up with with the virtual painter add ons. that shot is also very rich in textures, with alma looking upset, ennis uncomfortable, and junior and jenny doing their best to bring back a little normalcy. (monroe's not in that shot, but the turkey is there, as well as the lamp. haha).

cheers!

I love your comparison of Monroe to the "turkey."  That is such a perfect metaphor.....LOLOLOL

End of the pics as I show them.

Here is another great metaphor in art.  The ashen greys and solumn coloring here portrays very well the
burned up relationship.  With the only thing still in evidence is the ashes and washed out life.   Very evocative.
Great work.

I have a couple of requests that I can fill later today

It's high time we looked at these paintings again. They bring back such lovely memories.

And Toast has been away from these pages for 10 years! I miss him terribly and think of him quite often. He always told us he wasn't long for this world, still, I can't help but hope he's still around, just gone beyond Brokeback.  :'(
