Today is another public holiday, so we're taking it slow and lighting up the firebowl in the evening. First time this year, which feels like officially opening the garden season ;D

Just don't stick your boot in the fire bowl.  ;D

I forgot to mention I also saw two robins fighting. At least, I think they were fighting. They were flying at each other, furiously flapping their wings at each other. One finally took off out of the backyard. I don't remember what the other did.

Does anybody know what robins do to attract a mate?

Siri says they sing loudly. Also "courtship feeding". The early bird gets the worm!

For those who celebrate.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Time to stock up on chocolate bunnies, peanut butter-filled candy eggs, and Peeps!

A joyous Easter or Passover to you all (or Ramadan, or Spring)! I went shopping for Easter candy for my grandchildren and was looking for my favorites--malted milk Easter eggs. But I couldn't find them anywhere! I ended up buying Swiss chocolate. I hope they appreciate the difference between that and Hershey's.

Every supermarket or drug store I was in this season had much less Easter candy than in years gone by. One even had its remaining Easter candy on close-out--on Good Friday!  :o
