I haven't heard from my friend Steven in a very long time. But just in case he is "lurking" or peeking in here from time to time...

I don't know how it's possible, but I think it might be true.

I just hope he lurks around here sometimes, and someday he will come back.  :'(

Steven is still a registered member here, though has not been active (at least not while logged on) since November 27th.

By the way, Steven's avatar is a photograph of a Montana ranch hand, taken in the late seventies or early eighties by Richard Avedon. The book in which this image first appeared, a photobook of the contemporary American West, was  a direct inspiration for the look of some characters in Brokeback Mountain, Steven's Montana ranch hand being used as an exemplar for Ennis.
