Toys and tools for Valentine's Day
« on: February 10, 2007, 01:10:21 pm »
I'm not good at starting new topics...I'd much rather riff off of others'. But this is my 92nd new topic, and I want to hit 100 by Valentine's Day! So, here goes...

I was engaged in spring cleaning one time, me and the other half were doing some nasty vacuuming. I asked him to hand me the crevice tool...and he started unbuttoning his jeans!! That cracked me up!! (hehe two in one!)

So, does anyone have any recommendations for Valentine's Day gifts of the toy and tool variety? Believe me, I've surfed all over...am I just too picky??

See, now that's why I don't start too many topics...I always end up talking to myself!!

On Valentine's Day, it looks like I'll end up taking myself out on a date...hope I don't end up taking advantage of myself.

Oh Gawd, anything with chocolate on it. Who the hell needs roses anyway.

toy and tool variety?

 ::) :)

I want a serious Swiss army knife w/every handy little tool known - I think they come in more colors than red, now...but this is probably not on-topic, is it?

Hilarious!  (No wonder he wants you home all the time... heehee.)

So you're looking for sets of tools to give him?  Many of the good sets (Sears Craftsman, etc.) come in big red tool boxes, so there's that.

Or after a hard day's work, a nice soak in the tub with rose petals & champagne (cliche' I know, but personally I enjoy experiences together at least as much as gifts...)  Or give each other massages w/ rose-scented oil or something?

(By "Toys and tools for V-day" I thought this thread was about, like, love toys or something! Maybe you can find one he can strap on his chin . . .  :) )

I have to say I'm not partic into flowers etc. yeah I like getting them - but you can easily easily buy flowers and chocolates - no thought. I much prefwer little more meaningful gestures.

Like a couple of weeks ago we got a new laptop. callum set up my homepage as bettermost so the first time I logged on to the net. bettermost popped up! Now thats romance!
