Two years ago I temporarily moves a bunch a lillies while I was reworking a bed. Last year I returned most a em back to the front yard, and, again, temporarily moved a bunch (50 - 60) plants a Iris in the back yard - way too close together. Two varieties have started blossoming.

Your garden is absolutely beautiful Roland!  I can't get over how different it looks from even a couple of months ago.

And that poem was beautiful.  I remember it from English lessons at school.

I bet your neighbors just hate you! LOL
Not in a bad way mind you! They're just jealous of your beautiful yard.
As it is, My neoghbor is a landscaper. His house is beautiful.
His specialty is roses. I'll have to get you some pictures of his.
They are incredible. I tell him all the time to quit naking me look bad.
He just laughs at me!  :-\

Truth is, on one side, the landloards only cut the turf-full-a-weeds once a month - good thing I got a barrier - very few weeds and I don't use pesticides - never have.

On the other side, I've got copycats. If I mow the lawn, they cut theirs, if I make flowerbeds in the middle of the lawn - 10 years later they copy me, if I use cement block borders, the next year, they got em too. They're really grass people, very meticulous, but they've used pesticides for years & now it's banned in Toronto. They have nothing on our variety though ...

Ok, tonight's posting ... photo taken a couple a days ago of the very impressive lupins. Cause a the heat, all the blooms are out at once instead a having the bottom turn ta seed before the top shows blossom. Plus I don't think I've ever had that many shoots from one plant!

Roland, I really enjoyed taking a stroll up your street! You really do live at the top of the hill, don't you?

(took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at....now I have gone back three times...it is just fun!)

Thank you...that was a very creative thing to do!

Yup in all directions ya go down, makes it pretty much the top a the hill

Bryan's ofter mentioned (over the years) how he liked how our garden always seemed to spring outta nowhere while walking from the corner tawards home.

More newness ta share this mornin - a 4th peonie - the other special one - the one Bill gave me that last summer before he died. Plant stayed in the pot outside (& survived the winter) before I put it in the ground last summer. A gift from gay Bill, from Paris Ontario

Plant's actually called 'gay paris'
