My Hollowe'en in the "Great White North", 2008

A few pics from tonight's decorations.

We received less than 60 kids this year.

Tried to get it all in one picture, but the light wasn't great.

Bryan made the ghost and cut the pumpkin.

All decorations are new this year. (I've been putting up the same old year after year. Was time for a change.)

Bryan tried for a scary face, but instead gor a scared faced pumpkin head.

The skeleton body/stand is new.

Cheap, but cute. I half buried the skeleton in the grass and pulled out some vines and draped em on the tombstone.

Sounds like you still had a good turn out.
Our neighborhood was full! We gave out alomost 5lbs of candy. Course the more beer I drank the more candy I handed out! LOL

I'm not good at growing roses.

But I tried it again this year and so far, it's still flowering (i.e., it hasn't died yet).

Simple (as in 'old style') yellow rose bush. There were still some buds on the plant just last week but I haven't taken a picture of it. It's raining today so I doubt I'll be able to post a picture today.

Or were you asking Richard?  :D
