Awright - here we are back on Big Star Lake. The view is from the Rod 'n Gun Club, across the lake from where my family enjoyed cottage life in the 60's. Tamarrow's pic will give ya a close up a the lot and 'chateau' that now inhabits the property where I usta get up real early, before anyone else did, ta get wild blueberries fer my breakfast cereal. (I can still hear the loon call echoein over the lake...)

(It's great ta have a good camera ...) Here's a close up a yesterday's photo, showing from across the lake, the lot on which we cottaged in the 60's. Of course, the property's been lanscaped and prettied up since then (even in town they don't do that kinda stuff!) - but this property was this special that it deserved ta be owned by people who could transform it ... more photos will follow ...

OK - Here we are lookin at a very transformed lakefront property that we used ta know in the 60's. Picture's taken from the dock. Behind me's the boat house.

The thing that made this the best property on the lake was the long distance you could walk out and still be in waist deep water. The other properties I was aware of, (the neighbours, the Rod 'n Gun club [across the lake], even the parish owned camp site) you would sink to below your neck within a dozen (or two) yards.
