When you put people in charge of the government who are committed to proving that it doesn't work, you can be sure that they will cause it to not work.

For the last couple a years, I've had this plant growing in the crack between the paved driveway and the house. Last year I tried to uproot it - unsuccessfully. Never even got to see what kind a lilly it was.

Turns out it was an Easter Lilly  :-\ Now how did an Easter lilly got to grow there?!?! I never let my lillies go to seed. And besides, I haven't had as Easter lilly in many years - Ah ... the mysteries of life. It's pretty though.  :)

This is a gaillardia or Indian Blanket. I just saw the first one of the season last nite on my run. I saw a bunch of flowers I wanted to photograph, but my daughter has stolen my camera and I hope I get it back soon.

I still have the label that came with the plant "Maysville Daisy Coreopsis auriculata 'Nana'" right there on the label ... although the image doesn't show the black near the center - could conceivably have been mislabeled.

The shasta daisies are pretty much in full show pattern. There's just a lot less there than what I would have expected in this it's second year of 'replanting'

Roland,

You're going to have to grow some Aussie natives in that garden of yours.  Even up the odds a bit.  Most of the plants you're choosing for your quiz are ones I've never seen growing here (or even heard of  :-\).
