The little green thingies in the background?  Not Chinese Lanterns?

No, those are (pretty) seed pods for the very pretty (but sparse) shoefly flowers/plant. Posted pictues of the plant before (June 24, reply #403, some 6 pages ago). Not sure if that's their real name - it's the name Bill, who gave us the plant, called it.

Here's a recent (yesterday) view of the shoefly plant - notice the seed pods (wish the camera would focus on the flower instead a the leaves.)

Don't think there are a lot a unusual plants left to post, but this one might be a bit of a challenge. I've actually talked about it before, just never posted a picture of it till now.

argh!!!

I remember the conversation....can't remember the name of the plant though....

Here's a 2 day ol picture a the feverfew and the faux (annual) black-eyed susan. Took a picture of those susans this mornin from an area (on the side a the garage) where the plant's done VERY well - but then I took 9 pictures this mornin!

Concerning the 'Name this Plant' 10th edition - it's an annual of which I also have 2 varieties of perenials. The seed pod a this plant is partially shown Waaaay up at the top a that picture.

Been meanin to take a picture a this flower fer over a month, but they's just not opened just right when I'm out waterin in the mornin and they're done by the time I get back home in the afternoon (and who knows what happens on weekends) It's growing from seeds in the cracks of the driveway - have to pull out a hunderd a these plants ev'ry year. Last year, Bryan took some home to grow in his little 2 X 3 foot sandbox he calls 'garden' on his rooftop - and they took!

So here they are. this is prob'ly too easy, but - go ahead -
