Happy May 1, aka May Day!

A Brit friend of mine told me May 1 is a public holiday in England. They get to have all the fun! Do they walk around drinking mead and singing 'Camelot'?

AFAIK Next Monday May 7 is a Bank Holiday in England. (perhaps it is the first Monday in May that is the holiday).

1st of May is a holiday here in Sweden too.

It's the international day for the labour movement.

All the leftist parties have demonstrations around the country.
