Jake Jake Jake!

I find myself thinking more and more about Jake today.  I hope he's doing OK through all of this.   

I hope so too....

His heart must be breaking over the loss of his dear friend Heath.  I think he must be taking it harder than most.  They were such good friends and they always looked so happy and relaxed with each other.  It's all so unbelievably sad.

Thanks Souxi, they look like such great friends.... Jake is in my thoughts too. I don't know if they were still as good friends as right after filming, but this must be hitting him really hard. And to think he has to continue filming through this...

Jake has resurfaced.... kind of. Here he is in the surprise birthday medley on Ellen DeGeneres's 50th B'day today.

I assume this was filmed and put together some while ago...

I think Jake and Heath were like brothers.  After all, Jake is Matilda's godfather.  I think Jake must be devastated at the loss of his good friend and probably doesn't have words to express his grief right now.  I am sure he will have something to say once the reality of the situation finally sinks in.

I just watched BBM tonight... and hearing the line:

"Sometimes I miss you so much I can hardly stand it."

Come out of Jake/Jack's mouth spoken too Heath/Ennis.  Geez, it was powerful especially given the current situation.  I wonder if that line rings through Jake's mind these days.
