"Gyllenspoon"?  I hadn't heard that nickname before, until I clicked on that second link.  It's actually sort of cute/funny.    ::)

or Reesenhaal. I think we even had a thread with that name floating around here at one point, when they were first spotted as "an item."

those pics made me real sad for some reason, and i sorta wish I hadn't looked at them....

Me too, Bel.  I would hate to have someone take my picture through the windshield.

I really hope that "Brothers" will be a good movie, because I am beginning to lose serious interest in Jake. Both Rendition and Zodiac failed to interest me.  :(

Why didn't they interest you?  What about Jake interested you in the first place?

I liked "Zodiac", but I haven't seen "Rendition". Would anyone else like to see Jake in a romantic comedy -- like in the "P.S., I Love You" genre? He's mostly in serious or semi-seriious stuff.

"Zodiac" was good.  Jake doesn't go for flashy roles too often.  He does mostly introverted, intense characters in serious films.  He probably won't do romantic comedy if he can avoid it.  Those are usually the 'fun' roles done for a lark or the trash bin for actors who couldn't get out of doing them.

I was really excited about seeing "Rendition" until someone spoiled it for me, then I didn't bother.  I'll probably rent it some day.  I have a few favorite actors.  I don't have to like or watch everything they do.

I like romantic comedies, but they are soooooooooooooooo predictable and rote.  I can understand Jake wanting something more challenging.

I liked Zodiac.  I would call it a 70s crime thriller.
