I was scared most of the time I was watching it. LOL  :o

But I really liked it -- it was long, but it seemed to go by quickly.

...predictable...

Yeah. That's why I said in the "P.S., I Love You" genre. I don't think it was predictable so much. I'd still like to see him in a really good one. I'd like to see him smile -- he has a great smile. Of course, I'd want him to be the one who gets the girl.  ;D

Yes, it was intens and scary (the scene in the basement, brrrr) but I liked it too. Jake was very good.

I missed Rendition, it didn't get very good reviews over here and was only programmed for a few weeks. I'll definitely rent the dvd when it comes out.

And I saw 'Proof' a while ago. I thought Jake was good in that one too.

Why didn't they interest you?  What about Jake interested you in the first place?

Brokeback Mountain.

Brokeback Mountain.

This is exactly my answer too... when it comes to both Jake and Heath.  I've seen very few of either of their other movies.

Hm, Jake is among my favourite actors at the moment (since BBM, really - didn't know him much before that, but I've seen many of his movies now from before BBM. Same for Heath - I knew him much more than Jake before BBM but I had never seen '10 Things..' or 'A Knight's Tale'. I saw the more serious roles with him. Since BBM though, I've seen almost all of his pre-BBM movies) and I really like the serious stuff Jake does. I'm not sure I'd like to see him in a romantic comedy.

I have some catching up to do though. Haven't seen yet:

JAKE: Zodiac, Rendition
HEATH: Candy, I’m Not There

Actually, I got interested in Jake after seeing The Good Girl.

Brokeback Mountain.

Oh, OK.  Well, I'd say he's unlikely to ever do a role like that again.  It was a once in a lifetime thing.

But I hope you'll check out his other roles from time to time.  He really is a good actor.

I highly recommend Donnie Darko. Jake's performance was great.
