Well i don't think it makes a difference whether he payed tribute when all the other co-stars etc. did or when he does during Brothers promo (and i think he will speak during the promo tour), it'll still bring up their connection through Brokeback. I don't know why he didn't speak back then, but i'm pretty certain we'll never find out why.

If nothing else I always felt he should have paid tibute as a fellow actor. Daniel Day Lewis, gave a very moving tribute and he did not even know Heath.He just commended him as a fine actor.
Jakes silence was just puzzling, but I don't want to start all that again.It is what it is.

I'm most interested in the fact that he's on horseback there.

I wonder if following the BBM experience he feels more comfortable riding horses... since I remember in interviews around the time of BBM he said he didn't feel too confident about his riding abilities.
