That's our man Heath! A hero!

Actor HEATH LEDGER turned hero on the set of BATMAN BEGINS sequel THE DARK KNIGHT recently, when he saved his co-star MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL after her skirt caught fire. Ledger, who plays villain The Joker in the follow-up movie, dashed to Gyllenhaal's aid when a special effects generator fell over, sending flames onto her skirt. Thanks to Ledger's quick reactions, Gyllenhaal was unharmed in the incident, reports American tabloid the National Enquirer.

I thought of saying something silly about whose skirt wouldn't burst into flames near Heath Ledger, but that would be too silly.     

Instead I'll just say that he saved his daughter's godfather's sister. 

And that this is the second fire incident for Maggie that we know of in recent months (the lodge fire).

Yeah, it's almost like "Hey, Ennis what are you doing with that silly make-up and hair?"

LOL! Ennis looks as if he's about to run away in horror from that strange and unusual spectacle of himself.

Whether the most unusual aspect is the hair and makeup (and that shirt!) or that huge happy smile, now.... difficult to say.

Hmmm.... a question: If that picture (you know the one I mean) is from a sort of promo-trailer, does that mean it's actually Heath in character as the Joker? Because I sure don't think that smile is a wicked grin. I don't think it looks evil or twisted or maniacal or any of those things that the Joker is supposed to be all about. It looks sweet, and happy.
