I have the book, but haven't gotten to read it all the way through.  Dirt Music is slang for the folk type music in Aus. kind of blues/folk sit on the front porch and pick it by yourself type stuff.  either handed down or make it up as you go.
And Batman Dark Knight I believe is scheduled for 2007.
