I'm not sure if anyone else recognized the humor in that last post... but anyway... part 119 of the Luke and Noah storyline, unfiltered! It's fantastic...

The
As The World Turns Christmas special has me mentally squealing like a school girl. Luke and Noah are both incredibly handsome in late 19th century finery, and the linguistic halts and stiffness of the Victorian socialites have been captured beautifully by whoever came up with this episode. There are a few things I have a little quirk with, such as the introductions. The tone of the Victorian introductions is correct, but the order is wrong. Younger is introduced
to older, men are introduced
to women (excluding attached women, whom are introduced by their male counterpart to everyone else), those with no titles are introduced
to those with titles. In Victorian society, those with higher social status are addressed more respectfully.... In some ways, these traditions continue today, though we have changed this order somewhat. Now I believe it is acceptable to introduce others
to older acquaintances, regardless of social standing, except for political address. Ah well, enough Society Rules.
Noah calls Luke by his given name of Luciano, which of course turns me into a throbbing pile of goo for some reason.
