Yikes. I never feel ready for heavy snow, especially if I have to shovel and/or drive. If I moved to an apartment or condo, I'm not sure how long it would take me to lose my sense of dread about a big snowstorm.
We got about 9 inches here this week and that was bad enough.

Well, it's 11:00 in the morning, I'm working from home because of the state of emergency, but there's almost no snow on the ground.
News keeps saying the worst is yet to come, but it never comes and they keep saying that.

Hello Bettermost Friends!
:D
Well, the snowstorm finally hit as of 12:30 yesterday, and went on until after 9:00 at night. We got quite a few inches of snow on the ground.
I worked from home today as well, we got notice that power had been knocked out to the company's office space, so we couldn't be there. Apparently, it may take "a few days" for this to be fixed, so I may be working from home tomorrow as well.
Sason:
Nice to be able to work from home!
Are you happy now, with all that snow, Chuck? I know you love it!
CellarDweller:
It's pretty looking outside!
I'm still working from home. This would be why.
According to JCP & L (Jersey Central Power & Light), there is no estimated time of repair, so not sure if we'll be back in the building by Monday.
