Kind of an ordeal, but glad it turned out okay. You'll catch up on your sleep, hopefully.

Hey, if you're a socialist, I'm a socialist too! (Democratic socialist, to be exact.)

I'm very glad that your identity wasn't stolen, that must be a real nightmare for those affected.

How does the frozen thing work, will you ever be able to take a loan or get a new card again?

Hello Sonja!  It's like Katy said.   If I should need a loan or card, I would simply unfreeze my profile long enough for the application to be accepted, and then refreeze it.  This basically stops anyone from trying to obtain credit in my name.

Hello Lee!  :)

I did manage to get good sleep last night, so I'm already feeling better!

As for being socialist, I'm not even sure sometimes how to identify myself, other than NOT right-leaning or conservative!

It seems like a good safety precaution. When you  first mentioned it, I thought it was something the bank did to you. But if you're in charge of handling it yourself, it seems like a very good idea to me.
Not sure we have that option here.

Hiya BetterMost friends!!!!

I hope everyone is doing well!!

:)

Last Saturday I was at a cousin's house, they were holding a retirement party for another of my cousins, he retired from the fire department.

It was great weather not very hot, almost no humidity, and even a breeze during the day which felt good.

my cousins,  brother, parents and I sat around and shared a lot of laughs, and family memories.

They hired a few guys to come and handle the food, they made burgers, hot dogs, bbq chicken, bbq ribs, pasta and potato salads,  sausage and peppers, and corn on the cob.

After a while the served fresh Italian ice in your choice of cherry, lemon, and rainbow flavors.   Dessert was a yellow cake with chocolate pudding in the middle, frosted with buttercream frosting.

This week I'm on  "stay-cation" from work.  It felt very good to sleep in today!  ;D  Monday the car will be at the shop for regular maintenance, and I'm contemplating going shopping to get a new TV and computer.  My current desktop is not Windows 11 compatible, and my TV is about 10 years old.  While it's a "smart" tv, it's not up to date and doesn't carry a lot of streaming services, so it's time for an update.
