haahaahaa!  If I remember that episode, it was two young boys who go "joyriding" in a plane they took from a local airport.  Turns out the motor was about to die in it, and the Wonder Twins got called to rescue them.

I remember that review.  There was also one where the reviewer compared her to Cyndi Lauper, and said that Cyndi would have a lasting career, and Madonna would be out of the business in 6 months.

I just had to go to the men's room and take care of my face.   ::)

When I left for work, I looked in the rear view mirror, and saw that the area around my eyes was all nasty and peeling from my burn that I got in Georgia.  Apparently, I wasn't as competent with the sunblock as I should've been.

I had peeling skin and looked bad.  Had to run to remove the peels, and add some lotion.

Sorry just now catching up on your blog Chuck  ;) I remember this same interview. Madonna was not really expected to make it very big at all, but Cyndi Lauper was. In fact the first song I remember hearing by Madonna was "Holiday" and I believe that was out at the same time as "Girls Just Want To Have Fun." And I do believe "Girls" made a bigger hit than "Holiday."
