One piece of good news today.  ;D

I refused to weigh myself over the holidays.  I wasn't going to ruin them.  So today was the first day on the scale since before Christmas.

I was sure with holiday food, and less exercise, there would be a weight gain.

Much to my  surprise, my weight remained the same.  No loss, but more importantly, no gain.

Today is also the day I bump up my routine.  I add to the weights I'm lifting, and to the time I use the treadmill.

Hey, that's great, Chuck, given that we've just had the Christmas season and all !!  :)

Strange, but I always weigh less after a bath ..... while still wet !!
(or maybe I was very dirty before the bath?)  :-\

Well I stepped on the scales yesterday and have put weight on. I knew I had but I still hate the little numbers confirming it.
They are digital ones as well, so I can't even cheat by moving the needle below zero before I stand on them. Yes I did use to do that. !!!!!

So it's back to my normal eating routine and bike rides. I miss my tennis so much, I have never been as fit or as well toned since finances forced me to give it up. I HATE  exercise, but tennis is a game and I never felt I was exercising, just having a lot of fun. It is the only thing that really toned up my arms. SIGH !!!!!!

If I could brave the cess pit, otherwise known as my oldest's bedroom, I could go on the exercise weight thingy there.I just can't face his room these days. without a gas mask and protective clothing. I am actually thinking of getting a " do not enter, Bio Hazard" sign made for it.

He proudly brought out a cereal bowl the other day, which I suspect contained whole new bacterial species. I knew milk could turn to yogurt, but not to absolute solids. !!!!
