The weekend is upon us!  ;D

I have no plans, and I'm hoping for a restful weekend.  ;D

I have to have the car worked on today.....nothing major, just regular maintanence.  Fluids flushed and replace the shocks and such.

May be a little pricy, but I want her in top shape....I have two weekends coming up where I'm doing a bit of driving, and I don't want any issues.

I'm hoping for a slow day at work.  A lot of people will be out, and those of us who will be in have decided today will be "hat day".  Everyone will wear a hat or cap of their choice, and we'll take an hour out of the day to hang out and relax together, have chips and dip and such.

I'm bringing Tostitos and salsa, and a veggie platter and bleu cheese dip.

Bank holiday today, so I've been out!

Up early, did a workout, saw the parade, had some hot dogs, went for a walk in the park to get some sun.....about to have a light dinner and do another workout.

Heya Chuck, thanks for the Mem Day wishes over on my blog!  I've been driving around this afternoon even though we're having lightning and thunderstorms today.  Wanted to see all the flags on people's front porches.  Even though I know they were supposed to be brought in cause of the rain, people left them out for some reason.  Made me proud to be an American.

And I'm proud of you also for how well you're taking care of yourself.  You're an inspiration.  Sounds like none of us will recognize you next time we see you.  And after you walk in Boston this Sunday, you'll be even skinnier.  Good for you, buster.
