Hello friends.

I'm just checking in to let ya know I'm here and ok.

Have a headache that's been here most of the morning, I took some meds that should help.  Today has been easier than yesterday, and I had phone calls last night with Truman, Paul and Matthew.

One of the conversations discussed how would we get through Saturday.  The reply:

"We will, and we'll do Rich proud."

My reply:

"Yeah, and I'll be a mess.....and Rich will look down and say "Well, there's Chuck being a drama queen.....again!"

Can you tell I use humor to cope?

Brought me a smile, and that's good. :-* :)

I'm glad today was easier than yesterday Chuck.

Humour is a good coping strategy, it's a good thing you can use it.

Humour is defintely my way of coping so you're not alone there.

I frequent another forum at www.moneysavingexpert.com - great site - anyway there is a selling and purchasing houses area of the forum and of course with the house sale & purchase we are doing I've been keeping tabs on it...

And there was one thread there today which actually made me laugh out load at work today... which felt good.. a bit of dark humour... may not be to everyone's taste at the moment, but it was nice to laugh!

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((CHUCK)))))))))))))))))))))))))))     Grab an ice bag, and try to

dance.  We were all together the last time that happened.  I know Rich will be laughing at

all of us now for the same thing.  It was as they say "It was the best of times, now is

the worst of times."  We can do this, because we have each other.  I wanted to thank

you and Truman for doing the hardest job of all.  Please try and take care of yourself.

Tell Gene and Bizzy, and Richs mom, I am holding them in my heart.  Love Janice

Hello Brokies.

I'm sorry for the delay today with this post....work has been a bit of the crazy side, and I'm making sure that all loose ends are taken care of before I go to Georgia tomorrow.

It's so odd.....getting my cube "clean" is one of the things I do before I go on vacation, so I have that "fun anticipation" feeling I usually get before I go on a trip.  Then I remember what the purpose of my trip is.

I thank you all for the supportive posts you've all been posting here.  They are very appreciated.

Janice, I remember going home that night with a soaking, frozen knee.  I was hobbling around the rest of that trip!

One thing that most people don't know.....the photo I've posted of Rich standing behind me, doing a "dozy embrace"?  He was actually leaning on me, and I was afraid my knee wasn't gonna hold us, and we were gonna flop over.

 ::) :laugh:

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

The dozy embrace segues into the happy tussle.   :)

Good morning Friends!

I woke today to horrendous weather:  thunder, lightning, downpours of rain.  I thought for sure my flight to Georgia would be severely delayed or cancelled.

However, just an hour or so later, the storm has passed and while skies are not clear, the rain has stopped.  According to the airline website my flight is on schedule, so it look like all is good to go.
