 ;D

Just got back from a quick shopping excursion.  I ran and got a CD set on "learning Italian".     I studied it in high school and college, and I'm hoping this will "awaken" those lessons.

Good for you, Chuck.  It should come back fairly quickly.  Good luck with it.   :)

I think you look a bit like all those guys, Chuck, but Andrew Zimmern and you may have been separated at birth.  ;D

I agree.  Except Chuck wouldn't be eating some of that stuff.

Let's just say that things other people were supposed to do but didn't made efforts to hamper my progress at work, but I still got things done.

Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Oh, there must more than a hundred different brands of this product in Germany. They're called "Nuß Nougat Creme".
Every middle sized supermarked has at least 7 or 8 different ones. Nutella is just the most well-known.
Come over and have some serious testing sessions! :)

I took a jar of nutella with me to Wyoming a couple of weeks ago, and all my travel mates ridiculed it. They said there must be all of 7 people in the U.S. who would buy it. I told them it was just like peanut butter except with hazelnuts instead. l told them both my daughter and my son love it. So they said, there were 2 of the 7 people in the U.S.

Chuck:  Thanks for the PM explaining the joke you played on your coworker.  That's funny.

And it's far easier to get real chocolate spread (not chocolate-nougat) in the UK than in Germany. We only have the brands with hazlenuts in the regular supermarket. My daughter is allergic to nuts. I have to go into the next bigger town to a health food shop to get a brand without nuts. Of course the prize is about three times of a regular brand ::).

So when we were on vacation in the UK last year, we stocked up on Tesco chocolate spread. Lasted us a whole year, we're now on the last jar.
